Banquet Bartender

Part Time This position will be 1-3 shifts per week at most. Must be available Friday/Saturday nights after 2pm and Sunday nights after 3pm; additional availability a plus. Hours will fluctuate due to business levels. Must be able to work holidays.
Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks and service, and clean up of bar area while enduring quality service and guest satisfaction. Handles cash and credit transactions.
Per Wisconsin State Law, must be 18 years or older. Previous bartending experience a must. Current Operator’s License required upon hire. Pleasant, professional personality a must!

Banquet Cook

Full Time – AM/PM. This position will include working some breakfast shifts which begin at 5:30am. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
Responsible for large volume food preparation for events. Duties include: prepare food of consistent quality by following recipe cards and production and portion standards; start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs; date all food containers and rotate, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of stock items or possible shortages. Position will require person to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, and flat top grill. This position will also be cross trained to work as a Line Cook.

Must be able to communicate in English. One year line cook experience strongly preferred; must have experience with high volume food preparation.

Banquet Houseperson

Part Time – AM/PM shifts. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsible for manual set up and break down of banquet functions to desired specification, maintaining A/V equipment, and service and refreshment of functions as needed. Must possess basic English language communication skills; and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment on a continuous basis throughout the shifts. Must be able to work as part of a team.

Banquet Server

Part Time – Must be flexible. Must be available to work Friday and Saturdays. Additional availability a plus. This is a year round position.
Responsible for meal set-up, service of food and clean-up for each meal function while providing outstanding service to our guests. Must be able to work as part of a team. Previous serving experience a must in a banquet and/or restaurant setting. This position will require carrying trays of 8-10 plated meals. Outgoing, pleasant personality a must!

Morning Line Cook

Full Time – AM shifts 6AM-2PM to include weekends and holidays
Prepare food of consistent quality by following recipe cards and production and portion standards; Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs; Date all food containers and rotate, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; Note any out-of stock items or possible shortages. Operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill. Must have the ability to communicate in English. One year line cook experience strongly preferred.

Restaurant Supervisor

Part Time –Shifts are 2:30PM-11PM. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
The candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, with a passion for serving upscale food and wine.
This position requires flexibility; on a given night the supervisor could be asked to fill the following roles: server-host-room service-expeditor. The position would most likely consist of 3 supervising shifts in a given week, with more shifts available as a Host or server if the candidate is looking for full time hours.
The ideal candidate would have a background in serving, with server/trainer experience preferred. Experience as a supervisor is great, but not a must. Experience with wine service is a major plus.
Supports the Dayton Street Grille in providing Extraordinary Service, Impeccable Facilities and Superb Cuisine to our guests! Assists the restaurant management in daily restaurant operations, staff supervision, communication and training. Responsible for the security of payment and transactions, replenish supplies and inventory. Ensure that all equipment is in operation condition and cleaned on a regular basis.
