- Banquet Houseperson
Part Time – AM/PM shifts. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsible for manual set up and break down of banquet functions to desired specification, maintaining A/V equipment, and service and refreshment of functions as needed. Our Banquet Department is responsible for executing the Hotel’s banquet functions from small meetings to conventions to galas and weddings.

- Front Desk Agent
Full Time This position will be 4-5 shifts per week. Shifts between 7AM-3PM and 3PM-11PM. Must be flexible to include weekends and holidays.
Greet and register incoming guests, ensuring that guests are properly introduced to the hotel and its amenities. Process guest folios and collect payment. Administer and manage cash handling responsibilities. Provide appropriate phone etiquette to all callers. Maintain efficient and effective flow of information with guests, team members, managers, and sales department, housekeeping and food and beverage departments. Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and with courtesy. Relay appropriate tourism information to guests about local areas of interest. Prepare for guest arrivals. Receive and distribute guest mail and deliveries. Control inventory and distribution of hotel keys. Knowledge of the Madison area and attractions strongly preferred. You’ll offer suggestions and information regarding everything Madison: restaurants, night life, sporting events, concerts and attractions. You’ll coordinate transportation. You’ll set up, take down and monitor the 12th floor lounge food spread, keep robes stocked in guest rooms and deliver the extraordinary service the hotel is known for, to the biggest VIPs that visit Madison.
You must know the Madison area, have a passion for customer service, be outgoing and comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds regularly.

- PM Restaurant Server
Part Time – Evening shifts from 4:45pm-11pm. 2-3 days per week and must be available weekends.
Serves food and beverages to guests in the restaurant. Follows procedures in taking guest’s order i.e., uses MICROS system correctly and to its fullest capacity. Serves guests’ order promptly and according to established standards, policies and procedures. Smiles! Knows all menu items, their garnishes, contents and preparation methods; relays that information to the guest in a direct, concise way. Checks food before serving it to guests to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct, and accompaniments are complete. Does all pre-opening, running and after closing side work according to side work lists. Previous serving experience is preferred, but will train the right individual.

- Reservations Agent
Part Time Shifts are 4PM-7PM/4PM10PM weekdays and 8AM-4PM/4PM-10PM weekends.
Process all reservation requests in a call center environment, including changes and cancellations by phone, fax or others channels for all properties. Determine callers’ needs through active listening and using probing questions to satisfy and sell to those needs. Maintains a complete knowledge of the property in order to effectively sell the hotel and its’ services. Answer all phones calls using proper selling techniques and maintaining the utmost in professionalism while personalizing each call. Utilize the sales training plan to upgrade selling skills of the top agents. Input correct information into proper fields including proper use of guest history, source, origin, booking number, rate, room type, name address, telephone, and email. Recap all reservation information with each caller and communicate guarantee and cancellation policies. Must have excellent telephone etiquette and possess basic computer knowledge.
- Restaurant Supervisor
Part Time –Shifts are 2:30PM-11PM. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
The candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, with a passion for serving upscale food and wine.
This position requires flexibility; on a given night the supervisor could be asked to fill the following roles: server-host-room service-expeditor. The position would most likely consist of 3 supervising shifts in a given week, with more shifts available as a Host or server if the candidate is looking for full time hours.
The ideal candidate would have a background in serving, with server/trainer experience preferred. Experience as a supervisor is great, but not a must. Experience with wine service is a major plus.
Supports the Dayton Street Grille in providing Extraordinary Service, Impeccable Facilities and Superb Cuisine to our guests! Assists the restaurant management in daily restaurant operations, staff supervision, communication and training. Responsible for the security of payment and transactions, replenish supplies and inventory. Ensure that all equipment is in operation condition and cleaned on a regular basis.
- Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Full Time – Shifts are Monday – Friday 8AM-4PM. Must be flexible to work additional shifts as needed including 1st of the month beverage inventory.
Duties to include: Verifies specifications of purchase requests. Searches inventory records or storage to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity. Consults catalogs and interviews suppliers to obtain prices and specifications. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories. Computes total cost of items purchased. Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries. Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates and awards contract to bidders or places orders with suppliers or mail order firms. Verifies bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approves bills for payment. Classifies priority regulations.
This position is in an office/stock room setting. Must able to use Microsoft Word and Excel programs; must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Pleasant personality a must!
